Malaysia's uniqueness and strategic position is well suited for small, medium, and large enterprises and technology investors seeking to grow further in South East Asia. The establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015 is a major milestone in the regional economic integration agenda in ASEAN, offering opportunities in the form of a huge market of US$2.6 trillion and over 622 million people. In 2014, AEC was collectively the third largest economy in Asia and the seventh largest in the world.

Malaysia is located in the heart of the ASEAN economic zone, with per capita GDP approaching $10,000. It is also the second most economically developed nation in Southeast Asia after Singapore. In 2017, Malaysia is ranked #1 by US News/Wharton University as the best country to invest in. In addition, the Global Cybersecurity Index ranked Malaysia #3 in terms of commitment to cybersecurity. Furthermore, Malaysia’s talent pool is known for its multilingual and technological capabilities. Over 20,000 engineering graduates and 12,000 ICT graduates are available for employment annually.
